How to Install libaio-dev software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

libaio-dev software package provides Linux kernel AIO access library - development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libaio-dev

libaio-dev is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libaio-dev package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libaio-dev *
